Proclamation of King Charles III in Chippenham

The local proclamation of King Charles III took place in Chippenham on Sunday 11th September. On the steps of the Town Hall, the Mayor, Cllr Liz Alstrom, made the announcement using the traditional words "that The Prince Charles Philip Arthur George is now, by the Death of our late Sovereign of Happy Memory, become our only lawful and rightful Liege, Lord Charles the Third".
