I moved to the Chippenham Area in 1979 and joined the local Rotaract Club. I moved to Chippenham in 1993 when I joined Sheldon Road Methodist Church and married my wife Annette. I have been a Liberal Democrat supporter all my life and more recently been actively involved in campaigning. I believe in supporting the disadvantaged in our community, especially the youngsters. I help run a luncheon club at the Methodist Church together with a community youth group. I also run through the CPAS (Church Pastoral Aid Society) a Falcon Holiday for our local children in need. I have for the past ten weeks been actively involved in the running and fund raising of the Chippenham Food bank. Up until recently I had been a trustee and Chair of Olive Branch Counselling a charity set up to help those with depression and mental illness in the Chippenham Area. I am at present the President of Chippenham Rotary Club, who endeavour to support local and international people in need.
